Here Is The Real Story On Public Union Collective Bargaining...

For those of you who may not fully understand the situation or importance of collective bargaining rights for public (taxpayer funded) unions, a picture is worth a thousand words...

Why God Lets Bad Things Happen...

An age-old question.

So many people try to "blame" God for tragedies like the earthquake and tsunami that so badly damaged Japan. What is worse is that many of those people are saying God is "punishing" those people for some transgression. They could not be more wrong.

Being smarter than us, God understands that all must die or life cannot go on. If no one died from wars, pestilence, tsunamis etc., the population of the world would already be far too many to be supported by the world's resources, and we would have made ourselves extinct by starvation and thirst hundreds of years ago. God's world is, by design, a world where nothing can live but what something else must die simply because there is just so much sustenance available. Every living thing consumes, so every living thing must eventually be consumed.

Being a good Father, God probably would rather not "pick and choose" which of His children will die today, so He permits the natural course of things to do what it will.

But I think there is yet another reason - I think by allowing nature to takes its course, God provides US with an opportunity to do His work; to show compassion and to choose good over evil. To show Him that we have chosen to follow in the footprints of Jesus. If we are never faced with adversity, we never have the chance to prove our own worth.

Let me ask you - if you never face a really bad situation so good people can come forth to help, how will you ever know who your GOOD friends are? It's a lot like that Christian family we are trying to help (see our post at http://success-by-design.blogspot.com/2011/03/christian-family-in-dire-need-please.html). The way I look at it, that family faces devastation so others can prove to God that they, themselves, are worthy.

Think about that the next time you run into someone in need - will you just walk by?

Random Acts Of Kindness - Growing Slowly, But Surely. Your Help Is Needed

As many of you know from a previous post, we are attempting to help a good Christian family that is in dire need. To achieve that, I am putting my own money where my mouth is.

This family has spent their lives helping others in need. Now, he has lost his ability to earn a living due to debilitating disease. Uninsured, the combination of no income and high medical bills will cost his family their home unless others step up to the plate and help in some small way. All he hopes to do is leave his family with a place to live - their home. But your help is needed.

For all who have already given their gift, thank you so very much. If there is one thing your gift has already done, it is to provide the family with hope.

Most of you know my company markets "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate Investing." In fact, many of you already own the course, so you know exactly how much it includes. If not, you can learn all about it at http://www.intellibiz.com/. So here's the deal ---

Every person who goes to the Gifting Page and makes a gift of $10 or more for that family will be granted free access to the entire "Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" course (this retails for $49.95). You can download the complete course, software and all, simply by making a $10 gift to benefit the family we are trying to help. Upon making the gift, wait for the confirmation page - on it will be the link to the download. DO NOT ORDER FROM THE REGULAR ORDER FORM AT THE INTELLIBIZ WEBSITE (unless, of course you want more than the download edition) or you will pay full price. The ONLY place to get the course for your $10 gift is at the Gifting Page

I will provide the full download to anyone and everyone making the gift, until we have raised enough to get that family safely back on solid ground. If you want to do your own family and friends a great favor, point them to this page, or to the gifting page.

The download has a value of $49.95, so your $10 gift will be the best $10 you ever spent - not only will you be helping a good family in dire need, but you will also be receiving the most effective real estate investing course available. But even more than that, you can and should tell everyone you know about this, so they, too, can help that family while receiving a great $49.95 course for a mere $10

It doesn't get much better, folks. If you have ever been to www.intellibiz.com you know the download has always sold for $49.95. And if you already own the program, you know its value - over 600 pages and several software apps. And you learn all 22 methods of investing. Even if you do not wish to be an investor, you may eventually want to buy a home (or another home). This course can save you many thousands when buying any home.

Again, the course, itself is my gift to you for your $10 gift to a family in need. Everyone wins.

Whether or not you choose to help this family and receive the course as my personal "Thank You", please pass the URL of this post on to everyone you know - in your social media page, your email -- tell everyone. Some of your friends will want to take advantage of this, and will thank you for the opportunity. This is not an open-ended offer - once we have raised enough to get the family on their feet again, the gifting page will be removed, and no longer will anyone be able to get "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" for making a $10 gift. The opportunity will be gone because I cannot give the course away forever.

Have you committed a random act of kindness today? Here is your chance, to help save a good family from losing everythig they worked a lifetime for. They have always been the first to help others. Now they need YOUR help.

Is The Greatest and Sneakiest Threat To The American Way Of Life....GOOGLE?

It is easy to tell when someone is unAmerican. They will act contrary to American principles. And when someone - or some business - is unAmerican, those Americans who treasure the American way of life should refrain from supporting them.

Many of you will laugh when I tell you that one of the most unAmerican businesses in America is none other than Google. But before you fly into hysterics, perhaps you should learn more about this company that has surrepticiously become a superpower in its own right.

First, the "small" things that we might normally chalk up to bad judgement. I bring this up because, cumulatively, they show a penchant for acting more like communist China than America. Together, they begin to show the foundation of the ideology of Google. Then, from these "small" things we will learn about some much bigger, more insidious things.

We'll begin with their unAmerican business tactics. As many of Google's Adwords Advertisers have found out the hard way, Google does not believe in doing things in the American way, utilizing any sense of justice. If any person at Google finds a business website to be objectionable for any reason, the merchant's account gets suspended. It does not have to be a legitimate objection. It does not even have to be an honest or fair objection. For example, a site that was nothing more than a self-help book using Biblical tenets was terminated by Google because someone in their organization wrongfully assumed it was some sort of "get-rich-quick" scheme. It had nothing to do with getting rich, quickly or otherwise, nor was there any "scheme". Still, the account was terminated and the account holder had no recourse. He was not permitted to defend himself against FALSE accusations by a Google employee. You can check the book out for yourself - it's free. It's also beneficial. You can read it at http://www.success-by-design.org/ and judge for yourself. And then you, too, will question the true motives of Google. But it is what happens next that is more rooted in communism than in a democracy.

The owner of that site was finally able to prove the site was not a get-rich-quick scheme; that it was merely a self-help book. In America, if you are found not guilty of a violation, the violation is expunged from the record. But not at Google. Although it was proved there was no violation, it still appears on the account holders record as a violation, which would result in permanent termination if there is ever a second violation (or, in this case, a second non-violation). Again, that is how things are done in a communist country, not America.

When someone at Google suspends a merchant's account (so the merchant cannot appear on Google and therefore loses a lot of income), the merchant is only told, abruptly and without warning that their account has been terminated. No reason is given. No opportunity to defend himself. How can you defend yourself against an accusation when they will not tell you what you are accused of? These tactics were learned from Mao Tse-Tung.

I, myself was a victim of Google believing they are God. As most of you know, for over 20 years I have been offering a high quality training course in the career of real estate investing, at http://www.intellibiz.com/. Like any other business, the object is to sell customers on what you can do for them. But Google terminated our Adwords account because they objected to the site being used to actually market our materials. They actually had the audacity to tell me that I could keep paying Google for ad placement, but only if the website stopped selling our product and service. WHAT? Does that make ANY sense? Why on Earth would any merchant want to pay Google to NOT advertise their products? We were told it was a "violation of Google policy" to tell potential customers what our course could do for them - how they could benefit. But it does make sense once you understand Google's ideology, below.

As you know if you have been to our site, we have never made any claims that were not backed up by proof. We never offered anything we did not deliver. Google says they will run the website only if we do not include anything that would convince anyone to buy our course. One has to wonder WHY they would ask something so absurd. But that is not so difficult to understand once you realize Google's ideology is socialist, with a strong desire to make the entire planet a "level playing field" by taking down Capitalism. BUT...

...not ALL capitalism. For now, it serves their purpose to have businesses that sell products and services designed to get people to part with their money - to "redistribute" the wealth. But Google does not want anyone to teach others how to AMASS wealth - that goes against their redistribution principles. It prevents the "leveling" of the playing field. Yes, you can SPEND your money. But Heaven forbid you should EARN more than your share. And our site teaches people how to earn more. By doing so, we are building mounds on their 'level" playing field. Google does not like that.

As evidence - almost every website that teaches people how to make money - a LOT of money - has been removed from the "Adwords Sponsored Links" in the search pages. A short while ago, if you typed in Carleton Sheets, for example a number of sponsored links would appear. Every one is now gone. If you promote a product or service designed to help individuals to make more money than their neighbor, Google considers you an enemy of their socialist ideology. The same ideology as theire friend and associate, George Soros (discussed below).

In America, if you are accused of doing something wrong, you have a Constitutional right to know exactly what you are being charged with, and you are offered an opportunity to defend yourself against the accusations. In the meantime, you are innocent until proved guilty. That is the American way.

At Google, they do not recognize your right to know what you are being accused of. You are not afforded an opportunity to defend yourself - how can you if you do not even know the charges against you? And you are guilty until proven innocent. You know - the way things are done in a communist dictatorship.

I could cite countless examples of this unAmerican business model, and will gladly do so upon request. But the point is that Google has set itself up to be above American law and above the Constitution, but more importantly, opposed to American ideals and values. For example, an abortion clinic can advertise on Google Adwords, but if you are pro-life, good luck trying to get into Adwords. As a business, they do have that right, sorry to say. But the point is that a GOOD business would not work within an unAmerican framework. It shows the ideology behind Google - a liberal, socialist company bent on helping to bring America to its knees.

I suppose you do not believe that, either. But are you not aware that it was a Google Executive, Wael Ghonim who has claimed he utilized Facebook to bring thousands into the streets of Egypt and set himself up as a political martyr if need be. Youth groups, along with Ghonim, himself support ElBaradei and, by default, the Muslim Brotherhood. And who is financing such groups? Well, our old friend George Soros of course. He and ElBaradei both sit on the International Crises Group board of trustees.

Or that in 2006 George Soros appeared in a lengthy videotaped conversation with then Google CEO Eric Schmidt. In the interview it was exceedingly apparent the two were friends, and of the same mind.

And are you aware that Google.org, the philanthropic arm of Google, has teamed up with the Soros Economic Development Fund and Omidyar Network (a Soros organization) in a $17 million company that will invest in small and medium-size businesses in India to compete directly with American business?

Or that Google Inc. is a Charitable Giving Fund of Tides Foundation , which is funded by George Soros and devoted to the destruction of capitalism?

Or that Google has agreed to censor sites for the Chinese population at the behest of the communist government?

Google has - and abuses - the power to build or destroy businesses. They do not permit a business to defend themselves against Google's high-handed omnipotence. Google believes you to be guilty until proven innocent. And Google walks arm-in-arm with George Soros, who has often adnitted to wanting America brought to its knees, which must be done if socialism - his "Open Society" - is to rule the world.

That Google acts in such unAmerican ways, using unAmerican tactics, fomenting the takeovers of governments to benefit the terrorist organization "Muslim Brotherhood" and being joined at the hip to the most dangerous socialist in the history of the world tells any thinking person that Google is a serious threat to America. Hitler was right about one thing - he who controls the information controls the world. By controlling the information that Germany's youth was given access to, Hitler was able to build an army of a single mind.

Think about that the next time you choose a search engine to use, or the next time you choose to support Google in any way - including owning their stock.

Because we are ALL known by the company we keep.

As for me, I'm growing rather fond of Bing and Yahoo... Sure, they are liberal, too. But they are not actively involved in the ultimate destruction of America.

Have The Democrats Forgotten John F Kennedy?

In his inaugural speech, John Fitzgerald Kennedy made one of the most famous quotes in American history - "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what YOU can do for your country."

Over these last few decades since, and most particularly in the last few years, it seems every Democrat politician has the singular mindset and goal of having government provide everything for the people. They not only make it possible to "ask what your country can do for you", they also MANDATE it, with bills like ObamaCare.

I believe in JFK and his concept of the government's role - it was not unlike Reagan's concept - that government serves best if kept small, and controlled by the people.

After all, just exactly WHAT can we "do for our country" if the country does it all for us?

A people who have become dependent upon government are a people enslaved.

Have You Noticed Who Is Openly Cozying Up To Socialism?

On his vacation to Brazil, President Obama has now told them he, and America, will give Brazil a boost by helping in their efforts to drill for oil off their coast. At first, this only looks strange from the standpoint that Obama OPPOSES Americans from drilling off THEIR coast. But that is only the tip of the iceberg.

There are just so many oil rigs available. They move from one location to another as a well peters out. Because Obama has shut down offshore drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, those rigs will now move - permanently - to some place they can be used. They will leave the Gulf and move to Brazil, and produce oil for them instead of us.

But it gets much worse - the Brazilian oil company is owned in large part by none other than George Soros. Soros has invested billions into the Brazilian oil company.

I cannot help but see the clear connection. Obama has always said he wants income redistribution on a world scale. To do that, the American economy must fail, and American wealth transferrred to lesser nations - like Brazil. And so many of Obama's personal connections - Van Jones, Trumpka, and Stern for example, are friends or associates of George Soros.

And it is no secret that Soros wants to bring down America - he has said it, on video, often enough. He wants a socialist world, and he wants to be its king.

And now Soros will become even more wealthy and powerful as America loses that wealth and power, courtesy of Barack Obama.

Frankly, I do not see how anyone can avoid seeing the truth. But die-hard liberals on the left will not see it. They will find excuses for it, or just rack it up to "coincidence" once again. And the three "Hear, See and Speak No Evil" monkeys come to mind.

A Christian Family In Dire Need - PLEASE Read...

Sometimes it is just the right thing to do. And sometimes, doing that "right thing" is so easy to do.

When was the last time you committed a random act of kindness to help a stranger in need? Have you done that today? Yesterday? This week?

There is a good, Christian family in the tiny hamlet of Limington Maine that is in dire need of your prayers, and perhaps an act of caring. I will tell you their story, and let you decide whether or not a random act of kindness is a worthy thing to do this day.

The family is an elder man, his loving wife and their teenaged daughter who suffers Tourette's Syndrome. The family also includes 4 miniature schnauzers (see photo) and two cats that truly are beloved members of the family.

The husband and father, a good man has spent much of his own life helping others in need, volunteering in homeless shelters and soup kitchens, and just "being there" for anyone who needed a hand. He has never asked for anything in return, and no one has ever been turned away. Oftentimes he would help others even if it hurt himself to do so. He never really gave much thought to himself, and never complained, knowing that if the Good Lord is with you, who can be against you?

But now it is his turn to be the one in need. It is his time to have to rely on the "milk of human kindness" of others.

You see, this kind gentleman who has given so much of himself for 60 years is suddenly facing dire circumstances beyond that which he can handle alone. He has been diagnosed with emphysema, chronic bronchitis and diverticulitis. Because of his condition and age, he is unable to find work, but was declined for disability. He is also uninsured, and uninsurable. The loss of income has resulted in 40 years of perfect credit being totally destroyed, as financial obligations could no longer be met. What little they had saved is long gone, trying to simply survive another day. His loving and faithful wife has only been able to find a part-time job at WalMart. And his daughter also works part-time to try and help save the family from losing everything - even one another.

Part-time jobs at WalMart cannot save the family farm.

This good family is struggling, and fighting a losing battle to keep their home. If they lose their home, there is nowhere else to go and still keep the family together - their beloved dogs and cats would have to go. No landlord will rent to a family with so many pets. So, the family fights to stay together. And they are losing the battle to save their home and their family just as the husband is losing his battle with emphysema. He cries not for himself, but for his family who will be left homeless and broken.

So why am I telling you this? Because this man and his family does not believe the Good Lord has forgotten them. They have faith that this is but a test. Not only a test of them - a test of you, as well.

I, too, believe that God is watching, to see who steps up to the plate with a random act of kindness to help their fellow man. You need not put yourself out in order to step up. You simply need to care.

So, when was the last time you committed a random act of kindness to help a stranger in need? Have you done that today? Yesterday? This week?

You can show that you care about this family you have never met - but you know them all the same. You know them because, but for the Grace of God, it could be you. You can show you care by offering up a prayer for them. And if you are of a mind to commit a random AOK (act of kindness) today, under His watchful eye, a page has been created at right here where you can send this family a dollar. Just one dollar. That one, single dollar that means so little to you will mean everything to this family - and perhaps to a much Higher Power. For your random act of kindness will not go unnoticed.

And while we both know that, like this family, you ask nothing in return, I will personally thank each person who contributes one dollar to this family by sending each donor a free copy of the book, "Success By Design - Enriching Your Life Through Self-Improvement". And anyone who gifts $10 or more will be given access to the complete download of "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate Investing", complete with software (retails for $49.95). When you see everything your $10 gift gets you, and does for this family, you will want to tell everyne you know. Never again will $10 go so far or do so much for so many. I, too, ask nothing in return except this: pass this message on to everyone you know. Pass it around your social network. Email it to everyone in your address book. Tell your family and friends. giving them the same opportunity to save just a little piece of our own humanity. Together, as people of faith, we can make a difference. We MUST make a difference. After all, if together we cannot even help one good family in dire need, what hope is there to save the world? If you do not pass this on, we all lose.

This is one time you hold the power to make a difference. Even if you cannot gift $1, you can still offer up a prayer for this family. And you can help set the internet ablaze with this appeal, helping to create a good outcome for the family. Get this message to everyone.

No, this is not a "recognized" charity - no tax deduction for your gift. Your reward will be waiting elsewhere.

Thank you, and God Bless

The Latest Bad News From The CBO (Bad News For Obama, That Is)

"WASHINGTON – A new assessment of President Barack Obama's budget released Friday says the White House underestimates future budget deficits by more than $2 trillion over the upcoming decade.

The estimate from the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says that if Obama's February budget submission is enacted into law it would produce deficits totaling $9.5 trillion over 10 years — an average of almost $1 trillion a year.

Obama's budget saw deficits totaling $7.2 trillion over the same period."

Why does this not surprise any conservatives?

Tips For Buying An Older Home...

Buying an older home should be an exercise in caution. There is much more to consider than when buying a new home.

Unlike most new homes, older homes can be fixed up, allowing the owner to reap huge profits at the eventual resale. It is relatively easy to add value to an older home, and almost impossible to do so with a newly built structure.

Another benefit, of course - you can usually move right in. With many new homes, you often must wait for completion, which could takes months.

But perhaps one of the best features of an older home is its quality. I have seen so many new homes that were little more than "cracker boxes". Even some of the high-end homes would feature low quality in places where it doesn't show - at first. If a home has been around for a long time, and is still basically sound, rest assured it will be around for a long time to come.

But there is a caveat when buying an older home - many parts may be out-dated, or worn out. Some of these parts may be structural, requiring huge dollar investments to repair. Therefore, it is imperative that the person looking for an older home should know exactly what to look for - and look OUT for. It isn't simply a matter of glancing at the roof to see if it sags, or checking the foundation for cracks.

Don't let visions of comfy, old-fashioned living lull you into overlooking important details - if you do, your dreams of settling in may well turn into a nightmare and moving out.

So, if you are considering an older home, this free book (link below) excerpted from "The Simple Man's Guide to Real Estate" will show you exactly how to make it a rewarding experience, and save you a lot of future problems and heartache. Enjoy!

G-Rated Sites That Google Does Not Want You To See...

This is really amazing - actually, puzzling is a more accurate term.

Google, a superpower in its own right is becoming infamous for its high-handed methods, even with its own customers.

Bear in mind that if a small business cannot be found on Google, it simply cannot be found, period. So, Google has the power of life and death over small businesses - and now, even larger businesses. Google has begun censoring content, even banning entire websites and businesses, to make sure you only see what they want you to see. And that kind of abuse of power is scary.

So, I have a couple of websites listed here that have been banned by Google (don't worry, they are family fare), and I would ask you to check them out yourself. Then see if you can figure out what it is that makes them worthy of being banned. And ask your friends to do the same - tweet this post, or mention it on your social network page. We plan on putting together a fun report consisting of your comments on why you think Google banned these - and many similar - sites. Oh, and let us know if you approve of Google deciding for you what sites you can and cannot access.

Then let me know your thoughts by using the COMMENTS link below this post. Needless to say, BING is my new search engine. They don't think it's their job to censor.

As if we needed another reason for the nation to be fiscally responsible...

OK, so the country is pretty much broke because the administrations, past and present, spent like Paris Hilton on a cocaine weekend. And we know it's a big problem. But what you may not have considered (and I am certain the big spenders in Washington never gave it a thought) is what will we do if the money is gone and a disaster hits? I'm not talking about a Katrina thing - while that is a disaster, it's pretty insignificant compared to the kind of disasters that could hit us.

Look at Japan today. Tsunami, 8.9 quake, leaking reactors...even that is relatively minor compared to the possibilities that exist, yet it will cost in the hundreds of billions.

What happens if an 8.9 or bigger quake hits off the coast of California? Or a solar flare knocks out all communications and electrical supply throughout North America (don't laugh - a small flare did that to all Eastern Canada in the last solar cycle in 1998)? Disasters of such a magnitude could easily costs not billions, but trillions.

And we no longer have access to that kind of money. In other words, we would be at the mercy of the world. And I think you know how (un) quick they are to ever contribute much foreign aid to anyone. Thus, a weakened America without the ability to recoup quickly has suddenly become what Mother Nature calls PREY.

Every family understands that it is always wise to have a contingency fund - to never find yourself in the position to not be able to handle an emergency.

Folks - call your senators and representatives. Tell them to cut spending big time, and quickly, or they will find themselves on the unemployment line. Make sure you express how very critical this issue is to you, even if YOU have to lose a few benefits for awhile in order to nurse the nation back to health. After all, what good will those benefits do you if America falls?

It Is Difficult To Dispute These Terrible Facts - But Go Ahead And Try...

* These ten poorest cities and the percentage of population that lives below the poverty level according to government statistics (U.S. Census Bureau, 2010). I have also added information on who was running things:

1. Detroit , MI 32.5% - No Republican mayor since 1961

2. Buffalo , NY 29.9% - No Republican mayor since 1954

3. Cincinnati , OH 27.8% - No Republican mayor since 1984

4. Cleveland , OH 27.0% - No Republican mayor since 1989

5. Miami , FL 26.9% - Has NEVER had a Republican mayor

6. St. Louis , MO 26.8% - No Republican mayor since 1949

7. Chicago, Ill. 26.4% - Has NEVER had a Republican mayor

8. Milwaukee , WI 26.2% - No Republican mayor since 1908

9. Philadelphia , PA 25.1% - No Republican mayor since 1952

10. Newark , NJ 24.2% - No Republican mayor since 1907

What do these top ten cities with the highest poverty rate all have in common? The people in these cities elect Democrats almost exclusively because most employees in these areas belong to strong unions, and the unions support the Democrat party.

The ENTIRE state of California is in the same boat for the same reasons.

IT IS TIME FOR INTELLIGENCE TO PREVAIL NO MATTER WHO PROTESTS - AND NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PARTY.

As a side note that may or may not help explain why one party seems incapable of producing good government for the people, in the history of our federal government the following facts are evident:

5 Representatives have been expelled (serious or criminal infractions). All 5 were Democrats

14 Senators have been expelled (serious or criminal infractions). All 14 were Democrats

21 Representatives censured (leseer infractions, mostly ethics). 16 Democrats, 5 Republicans

7 Senators have been censured. 4 were Democrats, 3 were Republican

2 Presidents have been impeached. Both were Democrats

Hey, I don't make the facts. I just dig 'em up and make them available for all to learn from.

It's Time The Whiners Get Straightened Out

I gotta tell ya, I am just SO sick of the whiners who think they are so badly mistreated when in fact they have it better than most.

Case in point: today I read a post by a Wisconsin Public Union employee. We was pissin' n' moanin' that having to contribute 12% to his own health care was effectively cutting his pay by 8%. Wah-h-h!

So I posted back: "Hey, buddy, I feel your pain 'cuz I understand about having to pay so much in. You see, I am a non-union stiff. Not only do I have to contribute 20% to my own insurance, but I, as a taxpayer have to also pick up the remaining 88% of YOUR insurance. So what are you whining about? You pay 12%, and I have to pay 108% just so YOU can get off easy. And while you are only beginning to pay 12%, I have been paying 108% for YEARS. Stop gripin' and start carrying your own freight. I just can't afford to support your wimpy butt anymore."

Yeh, I'm sick of the whiners. The people who don't even try to seek work and collect rental assistance, heat assistance, food stamps and even cash. They have earned NONE of it, and I have to pick up the tab. Yet THEY are the ones who cry about how badly they suffer at the hands of the "greedy rich". That they don't get another 26 weeks of free unemployment. And listen to them scream if anyone suggests they do some community service in exchange for their free ride.

And then the teachers who have been found to be unworthy of being anywhere near a child. They are no longer allowed in a classroom, but as long as they show up in the Teacher's Lounge every day, they still collect their paycheck, courtesy of Joe Taxpayer - yeah, that's me. And probably you. Yet they complain that they are not getting RAISES like the other teachers! Thank you for that, Public Union - I'm sure you will find a way to include them in the raises.

Oh, and let's not forget the overpaid corporate execs who scream bloody murder because their 10 million dollar bonus was cut to a mere $8 million this year. And the multi-million dollar ball players who cry because they are asked to play an extra two games. Pardon me for mentioning this, but when they were in school they fought to play as often as possible, for free! Now they complain about being asked to have more fun playing for the meager #20 million they are getting paid.

I swear, and it really hurts to have to say this, but a big chunk of America has become a bunch of selfish, whining little brats that never made it out of their "terrible two's". They need a good slap aside the cranium.

Wake up, America. We are showing far too much weakness, and that is not the America that became the most powerful nation on Earth.

If you are a hard-working, moral person who believes in self-dependence and reliance, and you take the blows in stride - KOOL! You are a true American, the kind that conquered every adversity. If, on the other hand you think someone, anyone, owes you anything, and you sit around expecting things to just come to you, I suggest you get off your soft, ugly arse and put your lazy shoulder to the wheel and start carrying your own weight, and do it without bitchin'. Cuz my father was correct when he said, "Son, you are right - the world DOES owe you a living. But you gotta work your butt off to collect."

Found Hidden In Obamacare - Over $105 Billion In Slush Funds

Scrutiny of the "Obamacare" law has turned up over $105,000,000,000 in different slush funds. For example, in one section it states that the Secretary of HHS will have free and unfettered access to $16 billion as "petty cash", to use in any way she chooses.

And included in Section 1311(a) of Obamacare is an unlimited appropriation to the Health and Human Services secretary that allows HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to extend any - any - amount of money that she wants to any of the 50 states for the purpose of implementing the health-care exchanges. This defies our Constitution because only Congress can appropriate money, but this gives her an unlimited credit card to tap the U.S. Treasury without further Congressional approval.

Nancy Pelosi wasn't kidding when she said we had to pass the bill in order to find out what's in it.

And I suspect this is only the beginning.

Libs On AOL & HuffPost Said Most Of Our Presidents Were Not Religious...

While surfing AOL & Huffington Post today, I posted that the majority of U.S. Presidents were deeply religious. I made that comment in response to their claims that they were not. Both AOL and HuffPost got indignant, and said I needed to back up my contention. I did. They did not post it. So, I am posting it here.

First, from the Library of Congress: "The first two Presidents of the United States were patrons of religion--George Washington was an Episcopal vestryman, and John Adams described himself as "a church going animal." Both offered strong rhetorical support for religion. In his Farewell Address of September 1796, Washington called religion, as the source of morality, "a necessary spring of popular government," while Adams claimed that statesmen "may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand."

I dug up my "Book Of Presidential Quotes" - I put this together years ago. It is a book of important quotes by all American presidents. Here are just a few excerpts from the chapter on religion - there are hundreds more. Feel free to copy and use them if you run into folks trying to tell you our country was not founded on Christian-Judeo tenets and its presidents were not religious:

GEORGE WASHINGTON:
"Almighty and eternal Lord God, the great Creator of heaven and earth, and the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ; look down from heaven in pity and compassion upon me Thy servant, who humbly prorate myself before Thee." George Washington's prayer at Valley Forge

"Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail to the exclusion of religious principle" Farewell Address

"Do not let any one claim to be a true American if they ever attempt to remove religion from politics."

JAMES MADISON:
"Religion, or the duty we owe to our Creator, and the manner of discharging it, can be directed only by reason and conviction, not by force or violence; and, therefore, that all men should enjoy the fullest toleration in the exercise of religion according to the dictates of conscience, unpunished and unrestrained by the magistrate, unless under color of religion any man disturb the peace, the happiness, or safety of society, and that it is the mutual duty of all to practice Christian forbearance, love, and charity toward each other."

ABRAHAM LINCOLN:
"In regard to this great book, I have but to say, it is the best gift God has given to man. All the good Savior gave to the world was communicated through this book. But for it we could not know right from wrong. All things most desirable for man's welfare, here and hereafter, are to be found portrayed in it."

"I do not think I could myself be brought to support a man for office whom I knew to be an open enemy of, or scoffer at, religion." [July 31, 1846]

"Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance, are still competent to adjust, in the best way, all our present difficulty".

ULYSSES S GRANT:
"Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet-anchor of your liberties; write its precepts in your hearts and practice them in your lives. To the influence of this book we are indebted for all the progress made in true civilization, and to this we must look as our guide in the future. Righteousness exalteth a nation; but sin is a reproach to any people."

HERBERT HOOVER:
"The whole inspiration of our civilization springs from the teachings of Christ and the lessons of the prophets. To read the Bible for these fundamentals is a necessity of American life."

"The study of the Bible is a post-graduate course in the richest library of human experience."

JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY:
"And yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe—the belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state, but from the hand of God...... With a good conscience our only sure reward, with history the final judge of our deeds, let us go forth to lead the land we love, asking His blessing and His help, but knowing that here on earth God's work must truly be our own." Inaugural Address - Friday, January 20, 1961

RONALD REAGAN:

"You know, if we look back through history to all those great civilizations, those great nations that rose up to even world dominance and then deteriorated, declined, and fell, we find they all had one thing in common. One of the significant forerunners of their fall was their turning away from their God... "

"Without God, there is no virtue, because there's no prompting of the conscience. Without God, we're mired in the material, that flat world that tells us only what the senses perceive. Without God, there is a coarsening of the society. And without God, democracy will not and cannot long endure. If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under. If I could just make a personal statement of my own -- in these 3 1/2 years I have understood and known better than ever before the words of Lincoln, when he said that he would be the greatest fool on this footstool called Earth if he ever thought that for one moment he could perform the duties of that office without help from One who is stronger than all." University of South Carolina, Columbia, Sept 20, 1983)

JOHN ADAMS:

"The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: 'It connected in one indissoluble bond the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity." July 4, 1821

"The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were.... the general principles of Christianity." letter to Thomas Jefferson, June 28, 1813

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other." Oct. 13, 1789 address to the military.

JOHN QUINCY ADAMS:
“Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day [the Fourth of July]?" “Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior? That it forms a leading event in the progress of the Gospel dispensation? Is it not that the Declaration of Independence first organized the social compact on the foundation of the Redeemer's mission upon earth? That it laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity"?--1837, at the age of 69, when he delivered a Fourth of July speech at Newburyport, Massachusetts

“The Law given from Sinai [The Ten Commandments] was a civil and municipal as well as a moral and religious code.” Letters to his son. p. 61

"It is no slight testimonial, both to the merit and worth of Christianity, that in all ages since its promulgation the great mass of those who have risen to eminence by their profound wisdom and integrity have recognized and reverenced Jesus of Nazareth as the Son of the living God."

"My custom is to read four or five chapters of the Bible every morning immediately after rising... It seems to me the most suitable manner of beginning the day... It is an invaluable and inexhaustible mine of knowledge and virtue."

THOMAS JEFFERSON: (liberals point to his "wall of separation of church and state to declare him non-religious, but here are his own words...)

"My views- - - are the result of a lifetime of inquiry and reflection, and very different from the anti-Christian imputed to me by those who know nothing of my opinions. To the corruptions of Christianity I am, indeed, opposed; but not to the genuine precepts of Jesus himself. I am a Christian in the only sense in which He wished anyone to be; sincerely attached to his doctrines in preference of all others—" Thomas Jefferson to Dr. Benjamin Rush On April 21, 1803
"Can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with His wrath? I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that His justice cannot sleep forever." excerpts are inscribed on the walls of the Jefferson Memorial in the nations capital

"I am a real Christian – that is to say, a disciple of the doctrines of Jesus Christ." --The Writings of Thomas Jefferson, p. 385

"The reason that Christianity is the best friend of Government is because Christianity is the only religion that changes the heart."

"Of all systems of morality, ancient of modern, which have come under my observation, none appear to be so pure as that of Jesus."

"I hold the precepts of Jesus as delivered by Himself, to be the most pure, benevolent and sublime which have ever been preached to man..."

"I have always said and always will say that the studious perusal of the Sacred Volume will make better citizens, better fathers, better husbands... the Bible makes the best people in the world."

JAMES MADISON:
"Before any man can be considered as a member of civil society, he must be considered as a subject of the Governor of the Universe. And to the same Divine Author of every good and perfect gift [James 1:17] we are indebted for all those privileges and advantages, religious as well as civil, which are so richly enjoyed in this favored land."

ANDREW JACKSON:
"The Bible is the Rock on which this Republic rests."

THEODORE ROOSEVELT:
"To every man who faces life with real desire to do his part in everything, I appeal for a study of the Bible."

WOODROW WILSON:
"America was born a Christian nation. America was born to exemplify that devotion to the elements of righteousness which are derived from the revelations of Holy Scriptures. Ladies and gentlemen, I have a very simple thing to ask of you. I as of every man and woman in this audience that from this night on they will realize that part of the destiny of America lies in their daily perusal of this great book of revelations. That if they would see America free and pure they will make their own spirits free and pure by this baptism of the Holy Scripture." 1911, pre-Presidential campaign speech

HARRY S TRUMAN:

"The fundamental basis of this nation's law was given to Moses on the Mount. The fundamental basis of our Bill of Rights comes from the teaching we get from Exodus and St. Matthew, from Isaiah and St. Paul. I don't think we emphasize that enough these days. If we don't have the proper fundamental moral background, we will finally end up with a totalitarian government which does not believe in the right for anybody except the state."

ALEXANDER HAMILTON:
"I have carefully examined the evidences of the Christian religion, and if I was sitting as a juror upon its authenticity I would unhesitatingly give my verdict in its favor. I can prove its truth as clearly as any proposition ever submitted to the mind of man."

Solving The Gay Marriage Debate

I'm really tired of this gay marriage thing. Both sides are wrong, for different reasons, and the solution - for those who are logical and sane - is really quite simple.

First, let's lay out the sides of the debate. On one side we have those who believe (correctly) marriage is a sacred religious rite (not a civil right) and that homosexuality is an abomination. Therefore, allowing gays to "marry" would violate their basic beliefs and they believe it would lessen the importance of their own marriage by making it less relevant to their religion. It's kinda like a million bucks - if only hard-working entrepeneurs can become millionaires, it is something rather special. But if everyone has a million, suddenly being a millionaire has no significance. Christians do not want to make their marriage less significant.

On the other side you have those who believe gays should be able to marry so they can have all the same legal rights as hetero couples. There is a third side, but we'll save that for last, mostly because it is not a legitimate argument. This solution would protect the religious sanctity of marriage and still provide equal legal rights and protections for any adult couple choosing to be in a life partnership.

Here goes... First, give marriage back to the church from whence it came, and stop allowing the state to co-opt it just so they can place controls on it and charge fees for licenses. The government had no legal authority to inject themselves into a religios rite in the first place (see the 1st Amendment).

Next, make civil unions equal to marriage in every legal sense, with all the same rights, privileges and protections. The ONLY difference would be that a marriage is a union sanctioned (presumably) by God while a civil union is a union sanctioned by the state.

Third, religious people who want to unite as life partners in the eyes of their God may do so in their church, provided the church agrees. This shall be called "marriage" - union in the sight of God.

For everyone else, whether heterosexual or homosexual, or anyone not religious enough to want to unite in a church ceremony, they would be united in a civil union of equal strength as a marriage, and the ceremony would be held before a state official (i.e. Justice of the Peace). Upon completion of the ceremony the couple would be wedded. All couples, regardless of gender or preference would be able to legally unite in in a civil union that bestows all rights of marriage without being a religious rite. Heterosexual couples could unite in either a civil union or a religious one (marriage). Both forms on unification would be equal. But they would not be the same. The only difference would be the inclusion or exclusion of God on the guest list, and whether you are 'married' or 'wedded'.

Frankly, if you look at it with honest eyes, any union made outside a church and performed by a civil servant is nothing more than a civil union, anyway. Equality, then, is the issue and the solution. The name of the ceremony (wedding or marriage) would be chosen according to whether the union takes place in, or outside of, a church. And whether a church chooses to officiate in a marriage would be up to the church in question, as the government has no say in religion. If a church is willing to perform the ceremony for gays, that is up to that church. Simple.

The problem arises because some people are not really interested in either the issue or the solution, and it is from them that the trouble comes. They are the agitators. These people have an agenda - they want to create a socialist society, a society in which almost anything goes - legalized drugs, child porn - you name it, they want it legalized. But they can never accomplish their goal as long as America is predominantly religious, which provides a moral compass against such behavior. So, they must minimalize religion, and eradicate it from the public square. These are the same people who force the 10 Commandments out of the public arena; outlaw prayer every place they can; and even have Christmas decorations made illegal. For those people - socialists with an evil agenda - it is not about gay marriage. It is about destroying Christianity. You can tell who they are - they do not want "equality" - they want MARRIAGE.

And if you watch these people long enough you will discover they are the same people behind anything anti-Christian. For the rest of us, we simply want the issue resolved fairly. I think we should ignore the trouble-making socialists and just demand that our lawmakers follow a simple plan like the one laid out, above. It may not be perfect, but it is fair, just and does solve the issue of equality. Because "equal" does not mean "same". Things can be different, yet equal. And this is one of those things. Men and women are different, yet should be equal. Thank God they are not the SAME!

Obamacare Will Cost States $118 Billion - Congressional Report...

The healthcare reform bill passed last year will cost states at least an additional $118.04 billion through 2023 due to their increased Medicaid costs, according to a new congressional report.
That’s nearly double the Congressional Budget Office's recent estimate of $60 billion through 2021.

“The enactment of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act in March 2010 was the largest expansion of [Medicaid] since its inception more than 45 years ago,” according to a statement from the House Energy and Commerce Committee and the Senate Finance Committee, which jointly produced the report.

“Half of those obtaining healthcare coverage under the new law will get it through Medicaid. The committee report provides a state-by-state analysis of the financial impact the new healthcare law will have on states and demonstrates the unsustainable fiscal burden this new law will foist upon taxpayers.”

The joint congressional report “is the first to provide a comprehensive overview of state government estimates regarding the cost of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to state Medicaid programs,” the report states.

Sen. Orrin Hatch of Utah, the ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, said: “Governors of both political parties were clear when Congress was debating the $2.6 trillion health law that they could not afford a massive expansion in Medicaid. Washington didn’t listen and plowed forward instead by putting 16 million Americans onto the Medicaid rolls to keep the federal price tag down.

“With this report, we see the true cost to states, who are already facing a collective $175 billion budget shortfall, of this unsustainable expansion.”

The report’s state-by-state breakdown shows that California will spend at least another $19.4 billion on Medicaid, and Texas will be forced to spend another $27 billion — more than the program’s entire annual budget today.

Obamacare will cost Florida taxpayers $12.9 billion through 2023. Louisiana will have to pay an additional $7 billion; New York, 2.8 billion; and Virginia, $2.2 billion.

Even a less populated state, Iowa, will have to take on 100,000 new Medicaid enrollees, and spend an added $250 million.

AP Warps Another Story...

Today the AP released a "story" about how public media NPR and PBS are slated to spend millions for new "investigative journalists", and that is why we need to continue the taxpayer funding of public media.

However, the most crucial part of the story somehow got conveniently neglected. The "millions for investigative journalists" was given to NPR last fall by none other than George Soros.

For those who are not as well-informed as they should be, George Soros is one of the wealthiest men in the world. He is a self-proclaimed socialist and funds almost every socialist organization in the world. That is all a matter of public record.

Considering the left-wing bent and bias of AP I am not surprised they would "forget" to mention that. But I'm here to tell you that anything Goeorge Soros pays for, he expects to be rewarded in pushing his agenda of socialism. If he pays for "investigative journalists", the only thing they will investigate is conservatives and others who get in his way. These are the same type of journalist who spent millions of dollars and thousands of hours digging up minor dirt on Sarah Palin, but did not see fit to spend a dime or take 5 minutes to investigate Obama's 20 years in Reverend Wright's church, or his study of Saul Alinski. And they never spent a moment looking into any of Harry Reid's shady deals, or Charlie Rangel's illicit activities. They never investigated Tim Geithner's income tax evasion, or that of Tm Daschle. But they wasted a ton of money and man-hours trying to dig up dirt on the Tea Party.

And AP thinks taxpayers should fund such bias and a socialist agenda.

I don't think so.

A Surprising Poll --- You Gotta See This...

I must say, I was surprised at the results of a poll that was conducted by NewsMax on a LIBERAL website (yes, I go to a lot of liberal sites so I can get their take on a story). I expected answers that would lean heavily left, but something unexpected happened. Here are the poll questions and the results. The questions are specific and clear:

Do you support Gov. Scott Walker's efforts to reduce the power of public employee unions in his state?

Yes, I support him
440041 (77%)

No, I don't support him
128520 (22%)

Do you believe public employee unions have become too powerful?

Yes, too powerful
437904 (77%)

No, not too powerful
123537 (22%)

Do you believe public employee union members should be paid less, the same or more than employees with similar jobs in the private sector?

Pay them the same
470576 (83%)

Pay them less
66934 (11%)

Pay them more
23889 (4%)

Do you believe President Obama was right when he came out against Gov. Walker?

Obama was right
126512 (22%)

Obama was wrong
434887 (77%)

Do you plan on voting to re-elect President Obama in 2012?

Yes, re-elect
94558 (16%)

No, for another candidate
429692 (76%)

Not sure right now
35762 (6%)

Remember - this poll was conducted on a left-leaning website. And the results are nothing short of a surprise.

This is priceless...and as funny as real life gets...

Not many things tickle me the way this did.

From Fox News with Bret Baeir...

A man called 911. "My wife has been attacked by a wart hog and I need an ambulance to come and pick her up."

Dispatcher: "Where are you located?"

Man: "Eucalyptus Avenue"

Dispatcher: "Can you spell that, please?"

Long hesitation...

Then the man says, "I'll drag her on over to Oak Street and you can pick her up there."

Priceless!

In the next election ignore everything EXCEPT...

No matter who runs; no matter what their party, there is only one thing you should look for when you listen to the politicians (and DO listen - don't vote in ignorance).

Listen to what they are really NOT saying. You will notice, as I did that almost all politicians will answer your concerns with blanket non-answers like, "If elected I will fix that," or maybe, "As your president I will make sure that this happens."

Those are glib non-replies without any substance. LOOK FOR SUBSTANCE.

Here is an example:

Moderator asks the candidates how they would deal with illegal immigration.

Candidate A say, "I would put together a bipartisan committee to come up with solutions that reform our immigration policies and put an end to the problem once and for all. I would do so in a fair and just manner."

Candidate B says, "First, I would have my AG and the DOJ enforce current laws that punish employers for hiring illegals. If they cannot work, they will self deport. To that end I would have E-Verify perfected and be more efficient, and require employers use it. Simultaneously I would begin to seal the most porous portions of the border and use every method at our disposal to make it nearly impossible for illegals to enter. Then I would offer illegals the opportunity to get a renewable guest worker card provided they have no criminal record and can find an employer who would hire them as a legal guest worker. The guest worker card would be voided if the individual is not gainfully employed for 90 days. All illegals who aspire to be citizens will be given the opportunity to apply provided they apply from their native country, and provided they learn English and assimilate into American culture. If they do that, we would expedite their application and provide them with a guest worker card in the interim."

As you can see, Candidate A offers platitudes and vague proimises that have no substance, while Candidate B offers real and specific solutions.

We should ignore Candidate A, regardless of party affiliation, and support Candidate B PROVIDED his or her solutions seem equitable to us. But at least you know he/she HAS solutions, and not just hype. And that is what you should be listening for. Turn a deaf ear to empty hype, and listen closely to those who offer actual, SPECIFIC solutions.

They Boycott American Products -- Here's How You Can Repay The Favor...

WHERE TO BUY AMERICAN GASOLINE. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT TO KNOW.

You might want to pass this on. I buy all our gasoline at BP, Valero & WalMart (Notice where WalMart gets their gasoline, below!). Here's why...

Are you aware that the Saudis are boycotting American products? In addition, they are gouging us on oil prices.

Shouldn't we return the favor? Can't we take control of our own destiny and let these giant oil importers know who REALLY generates their profits, their livings? How about leaving American Dollars in America and reduce the import/export deficit?

An appealing remedy might be to boycott their GAS. Every time you fill up your car you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia . Just purchase gas from companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill up my tank, I'm sending my money to people who I get the impression want me, my family and my friends dead.

The following gas companies import Middle Eastern oil:

Shell....................................... 205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco.................... 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon /Mobil.......................... 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon/Speedway............. 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco.................................... 62,231,000 barrels
And CITGO oil is imported from Venezuela by Dictator Hugo Chavez who hates America and openly avows our economic destruction! (We pay Chavez's regime nearly $10 Billion per year in oil revenues!)

The U.S. currently imports 5,517,000 barrels of crude oil per day from OPEC. If you do the math at $100 per barrel, that's over $550 million PER DAY ($200 BILLION per year!) handed over to OPEC, many of whose members are our confirmed enemies!!!!! It won't stop here - oil prices could go to $200 a barrel or higher if we keep buying their product.

Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:

Sunoco.....................0 barrels
Conoco.. .................0 barrels 0
ASinclair...................0 barrels
BP / Phillips........... 0 barrels
Hess........................0 barrels
ARC0.........................0 barrels
Maverick...................0 barrels
Flying J....................0 barrels
Valero.......................0 barrels
Murphy Oil USA*.....0 barrels
*Sold at WalMART , gas is from South Arkansas and fully USA owned and produced.
*Not only that but they give scholarships to all children in their town who finish high school and are legal US citizens..

All of this information is available from the U.S. Department of Energy and each company is required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing.

But to have a real impact, we need to reach literally millions of gas buyers. With the help of the internet, it's really simple to do.. Now, don't wimp out at this point....keep reading and I'll explain how simple it is to reach millions of people!!

I'm posting this note to all my followers, and their followers. If each of you tweet this to at least ten more (30 x 10 = 300)....and those 300 tweet it to at least ten more (300 x 10 = 3,000)....and so on, by the time the message reaches the eighth generation of people, we will have reached over THREE HUNDRED MILLION consumers!!!!!!!

Again, all you have to do is tweet this message to 10 people. How long would that really take you? And then do one simple thing - buy your gas from AMERICAN sources.

Of course, we all know we can't all buy American because there is not enough American gas for everyone. But if we even increase demand for American (and decrease demand for foreign) by only 20%, that will send the foreign oil companies into a tizzy and force them to drop their prices.

Think about that.

Then, do something about it! You have the power to make a difference.

Venezuela's Hugo Chavez Stands by His Old Ally Gadhafi. Look Who Stands by Chavez...

Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez has stated publicly that he stands by his friend, Moammar Al-Qaddafi of Libya, the rogue leader who is murdering his own people.

That is not really newsworthy - it is what we expect from clown-boy Chavez. But what is worthy of mention are the people who call themselves Americans who support Chavez. Here is just a partial list of his "American" fans...

Kevin Spacey (D)
Danny Glover (D)
Sean Penn (D)
Jimmy Carter (former president) (D)
Senator Chris Dodd (D - CT)
Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D)
Medea Benjamin (D) Founder of Code Pink
Jesse Jackson (D)
Oliver Stone (D)
Brenda Stokely, president of AFSCME Local 215, NY (Union of federal workers) (D)
Cindy Sheehan (D)
Joe Kennedy (D-MA)
Ted Kennedy (now deceased) (D-MA)
Harry Belafonte (D)
Ed Asner (D)
Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA)
Naomi Campbell (D)
William Delahunt (D-MA)
JeffCohen (D), founder of the watchdog group Fairness & Accuracy In Reporting

NOTE that all are Democrats. I could not find a single Republican supporter of Chavez.

It is also worth noting that Iran's dictator, Ahmadinejad, is also a fan of Chavez, as is Fidel Castro

"Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but underneath are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them.” Jesus Christ. Mt. 7:15,16.

Now TSA wants your DNA - And lying about the reason...

The TSA now wants to swab all flyers for DNA samples on the pretense of controlling illegal immigration. It's not bad enough that they now pat down little children for Amtrak. Now the government wants to collect DNA samples from America citizens.

Some issues here! First, it is not for purposes of controlling illegal immigration. How do I know? Because I can use logic. First, our problem with illegal immigration does not lie in airports. It lies on our borders. If the government is truly interested in controlling illegal immigration, why are they not sealing the porous borders?

Second, collecting and sorting DNA is incredibly expensive - it would cost far more than sealing the borders. There is zero logic in swabbing flyers for DNA for purposes of controlling illegal immigration. More important, I find it incredibly scary - not to mention intrusive - for ANY government to have the ability to track every one of my descendants in perpetuity. Throughout the history of Mankind, no government - none - has ever been permanent. Sooner or later, every government fails. In the 1930's the German government failed, and Hitler stepped in. Imagine if he had access to DNA data on all Jews. NONE would have survived. He could have rounded up every one in a matter of days.

Fast forward to America 2032. The current world-wide upheaval of anarchists and socialists has expanded and even America has succumbed to socialism. The population of the world has doubled and there are not enough resources to support them all. It becomes necessary to decide who will live and who will die. Break out the DNA banks and locate every person with "genetic defects" that "the world is better off without". Talk about ethnic cleansing. Or a "super race". In such a world - and some variation of it will come to pass - the DNA you give up now could easily be used to track down and wipe out all of your descendants - children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

I don't know about you, but I am more than just "uncomfortable" with people giving up their DNA unless they are suspects in a crime, and even then the DNA collected from anyone found innocent should be permanently destroyed. I find it frightening because throughout the history of Man, anything we have to power to do to others is something we WILL do to others. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."

I would walk to my destination before giving any government the power to round up and abuse future generations of my family based on what some bureaucrat deems to be a flaw in my genetic code. /

AOL & PoliticsDaily Still Good For Laughs...

Today on the HuffingtonPosts' AOL, courtesy of the left-wing Politics Daily was the following:

"An overwhelming majority of Americans oppose taking away some of the collective bargaining rights that public employee unions now have and almost as many oppose cutting the pay or benefits of those workers, according to a nationwide New York Times/CBS News poll "

First and foremost, the New York Times and CBS News are both left wing -- they have yet to put forth an honest poll. But beyond that, all other polls show exactly the opposite -- that the average taxpayer does not believe unions should be getting a sweet deal on their backs.

We all know that polls can be manipulated in several ways. The most prevalent method is by how the questions are worded, simply because many people do not fully understand the issue. If you ask people if they favor or oppose stripping unions of their collective bargaining "rights", you may get many who oppose that. But if the question is honest, such as, "Do you support or oppose
taxpayers limiting the fringe benefits of unions that taxpayers pay for", most will support the limiting of benefits.

And that is the issue. First, collective bargaining is not a "right" - nowhere is it mentioned in the Constitution. Don't you just love it when liberals use the word "right" to describe anything they want, like abortion, gay marriage, collective bargaining? None of those things are rights - they are privileges, granted by court degree, government legislation or public opinion. And therefore they can all be taken away, which makes them privileges, not rights. Rights are granted by our Creator, as stated in the Declaration of Independence, and no mortal man has the authority to take them away.

No one is trying to "strip" collective bargaining from public unions. They may still bargain for wages and working conditions. The Wisconsin bill simply limits the bargaining to those things and would prevent the public unions from bargaining for all the fringe benefit freebies that add up into the billions - paid for by the tasxpayer.

So, any poll that asks uninformed people if they side with unions or with government, they will side with unions. But if the poll accurately reflects the issue at hand, the folks side AGAINST the unions. Americans believe in unions. But they do not believe they should be getting a better deal than everyone else, particularly at taxpayer expense (56% of the folks do not even realize that PUBLIC unions' benefits are funded by taxpayers - if they knew that, they would quickly desert the side of unions.)

OK, so some of you are not convinced. So answer me this question - if the folks favor the power and corruption of unions, why are even union members deserting unions (membership is down over 20% in the last several years) and membership in general has been declining for over two decades?

So, here is the nub: A majority of Americans are not aware that taxpayers fund public unions. And a majority of Americans do not realize that the compensation of public union employees averages 10-50% more than that of non-union workers. And the majority do not understand that the states are only trying to LIMIT collective bargaining to exclude fringe benefits, not wages or working conditions.

But most important, most Americans are not aware that the unions (not the union workers) and their leaders (like Trumpka) are socialist, supported by International Socialist Org, George Soros and other socialist associations.

Look at the insignia of communists, socialists and unions The hammer is "collective bargaining". And their mantra is the same -- "Workers of the world unite". They realize that the workers far outnumber the elites, so they use them to take power from the elites that they may become the new elites.

It's just a giant, adult version of "King of the Hill." Union leaders foment anger among the folks, getting them to drag the king off the hill so the union leaders can take the king's place.

The King of the Hill is "Democracy". The union leaders want to replace it with "Socialism".
