Google, a superpower in its own right is becoming infamous for its high-handed methods, even with its own customers.
Bear in mind that if a small business cannot be found on Google, it simply cannot be found, period. So, Google has the power of life and death over small businesses - and now, even larger businesses. Google has begun censoring content, even banning entire websites and businesses, to make sure you only see what they want you to see. And that kind of abuse of power is scary.
So, I have a couple of websites listed here that have been banned by Google (don't worry, they are family fare), and I would ask you to check them out yourself. Then see if you can figure out what it is that makes them worthy of being banned. And ask your friends to do the same - tweet this post, or mention it on your social network page. We plan on putting together a fun report consisting of your comments on why you think Google banned these - and many similar - sites. Oh, and let us know if you approve of Google deciding for you what sites you can and cannot access.
