President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and other liberal democrats keep telling us that insurance premiums will go down if their health care bill becomes law.
But according to a report by FactCheck.org today, that is untrue - premiums will increase.
I guess that makes Obama, Pelosi and Reid dishonest, because they still make that bogus claim, even after the truth has come out.
Let's face reality for a moment - the bill will force insurers to cover pre-existing conditions. Such conditions will cost the insurers billions a year. Now think about it - where do insurers get the money to pay for those benefits?
That's right - from premiums. And if the cost of the benefits go up, the premiums must also go up. There is no getting around it.
Frankly, I am getting tired of being lied to by the politicians who care nothing about the people, and care even less about America, and think the rest of us are stupid. All they care about is power - their own.
I'm looking forward to November - I suspect those power-seekers will get a big surprise as they find themselves on the unemployment line, because the "stupis Americans" are not as stupid as they think.
